             In France, consumption of rosé wines has surpassed that of white wines. In the United States, exports of French rosé wines have increased by 30% in the space of a decade. Rosé has broken new ground, success-
             fully moving away from traditional packaging designs, and is now the favourite wine of millennials, who drink it all year round.
             With a close eye on market trends and the growing interest in fresh, flavoursome and moreish wines, Maison Gabriel Meffre has developed an attractive range of rosés:

                                                                                                                                                  Gabriel Meffre was a visionary. He was one of the first winegrowers in the Rhône
                                                                                                                                                  Valley to see the potential of Provence and decided to invest in the region as
                                                                                                                                                  early as 1969, in order to offer a Côtes-de-Provence rosé, alongside his selection
                                                                                                                                                  of mainly red wines from the Rhône Valley.
                                                                                                                                                  “Madame” pays tribute to French-style elegance and glamour. Made with vines
                                                                                                                                                  planted at the foot of the Sainte Victoire mountain ridge, to the east of the town
                                                                                                                                                  of Aix-en-Provence, the 2020 vintage has an expressive nose of redcurrant and
                                                                                                                                                  pink grapefruit. Mellow, mineral and fresh in the mouth, it is an ideal companion
                                                                                                                                                  for convivial gatherings.


                                                                                                                                                                         Costières de Nîmes

                                                                                                                                                  Based on a parcel selection from Château Grand Escalion, this cuvée is a blend
                                                                                                                                                  of Grenache (55%) on pebbly soil (or ‘galets roulés’) and Syrah (15%) on sandy soil
                                                                                                                                                  (or ‘safres’), to which we added 30% of white varieties (Vermentino, Roussanne
                                                                                                                                                  and Grenache Blanc).
                                                                                                                                                  This unique blend produces a gastronomic wine with a very pale pink robe, an
                                                                                                                                                  explosive nose of crisp red fruit, and a fruity, ample and fresh mouth.
                                                                                                                                                  Produced in limited quantities, this cuvée based on plot selection is sold through
                                                                                                                                                  the On Trade channel.
